More...Alda worked with Sydney based façade contractor to develop an aluminium façade system for Siam Steel’s volumetric modular system. Alda provided shop-drawings and façade details to enable Siam to construct a 2 storey prototype in Bangkok with the assistance of the Sydney façade contractor’s supervisor.
Development of patented concrete modular systems for high rise construction in Malaysia using the Candle Loc connection system developed by Imax Modular. This system has undergone fire test by Sirim Malaysia and a 5 storey prototype constructed in Kuala Lumpur.
More...Alda was engaged by Fleetwood to conduct factory inspections in Victoria, NSW and WA to gain an understanding of existing capabilities and technologies and then identify suitable technologies, materials and systems which Fleetwood can adopt for mid-rise volumetric modular construction.
Alda acted as the Lead Consultant and obtained in-principal approval from BCA Singapore for 40 storey highrise steel modular PPVC system. This system has been successfully used in Australia on various low rise projects.
Alda worked with Imax Modular SG to develop a concrete toilet pod system for the high rise housing in Hong Kong. Key challenges were to design the floor to allow for falls, penetrations and drainage for the Hong Kong market.
Submission for In-Principal approval by BCA Singapore for 40 storey high rise concrete modular system using the patented Candle-loc connection system developed by Imax Modular. The fabrication of the system involved robotic assembly of 3-D concrete panels by bolting.
